Buying Fresh fish in Cork
Cork is a port city but fresh fish is very hard to come by. There are only four places in Cork that you can buy really fresh fish. 1. The English Market - Fresh, attractively displayed but pricey. 2. Good Fish, Carrigaline Industrial Estate - Fresh, attractively displayed, car parking, retail side of wholesale business, excellent value. 3. Local fishmongers delivery vans - fresh but may not be refrigerated, poorly displayed, variable value, convenient. 4. Mahon Point Market - Thursday morning only, very poorly displayed, limited variety, very cheap, sells out before 11.30am. |
