Internet marketing tools fall into a few, broad categories; software, programs, ideas and services. There are many different Internet marketing software packages. Most Newbies are tempted by them all. They are all well packaged and presented. The websites selling the software have been optimized to achieve maximum conversion of visitors into buyers, usually by a highly paid copywriter. The copywriter's skill lies in the application of psychology to the advertizing copy. Small wonder then, that so many people new to Internet Marketing are taken in by the cleverly designed selling sites of the big "gurus". Marketing software is available that will produce automated "killer sites for affiliate products. These sites are basically clones of the original site, but with your affiliate ID inserted. No affiliate product seems to be complete without one of these free sites. You can find software that will write your advertizing copy for your own products. You input a few variables, like the title, specific benefits, etc. And the software uses key words and phrases wrapped around your input. Email marketing is still big, despite the fact that almost everyone you meet is totally sick of it. The point is that there is a segment of the population that does react to email marketing. Email marketing depends on auto-responders. The marketer types a sequence of messages into his auto-responder that will be delivered to anyone who signs up for his course at predetermined intervals. An auto-responder is absolutely essential to success in Email marketing. It allows you to make your pitch to a prospect on many occasions, and it only takes one occasion to catch a prospect in a receptive mood, then your prospect spends money and becomes your customer. Pop-up ads must be the worst invention ever and everyone hates them – but they work! You must have software that will produce pop-ups to get your website visitors to sign up for your auto-responder course, or whatever. You have to get them to voluntarily give you their email addresses. There is a package that gives you hosting, your own affiliate program, auto-responder, page optimization and much more all for $20 a month. Now that's good value. You can easily write e-books using e-book compiling software and produce the essential, snappy looking covers for them. E-books are very big on the Internet because they can be downloaded quickly. The author does not need a Visa Merchant account, just a Pay-Pal account, which only costs a few dollars to set up. Selling reseller rights and master reseller rights to e-books can be much more profitable, because the price is higher if the e-book is sold with these rights. Your purchasers all dream of making a fortune online by selling e-books and the right to resell those same e-books. Very few of your customers will ever go on to make a single sale. |
