Irish Mobile Phone Networks There are 5 mobile phone networks in Ireland. Vodafone, O2, Meteor, 3 and Tesco. Vodafone and O2 offer the best coverage. The other networks piggyback on the big two networks. It seems that calls rarely get through first time on Meteor, 3 and Tesco networks. Texts on these networks are often delayed, sometimes for days.
