Reasons to choose plumbing as a career
Plumbers will never be out of a job. How many poor plumbers do you know? Water is very messy when things go wrong and all water pipes have a limited life, so repairs are always urgent, enabling plumbers to make a good living. Homes are constantly being renovated and extended, with extra bathrooms, outside taps, and radiators being required as part of the renovation process. Plumbers are needed to install all this hardware properly. Toilets become blocked. Many people have no idea what to do with a blocked toilet and call a plumber. Tap washers wear and the taps then drip. Although this job is well within the capabilities of the average person, most people call a plumber. Radiator valves wear from constant turning on and off. Thermostatic valves are no better, failing in a closed or fully open position. This is another job for the busy plumber.
